Colonial Bayberry Soap

Bayberry Soap

Introducing...old-fashioned colonial New England bayberry soap! Made with authentic bayberry wax and essential oils, this refreshingly rustic and piney scent brings notes of holiday cheer! A classic favorite.

When I was a vendor at the local farmer's market, there were certain customers who would always ask for bayberry soap, as it was a scent they had loved for years and considered hard to find. I've been making this scent for a few seasons now and all the while attempting to perfect it.

A friend who adores bayberry soap gifted me with a bar of Colonial Williamsburg's bayberry which she couldn't live without. So with my newest batch, I created a special blend to mimic the scent as close as possible and even hunted down some bayberry wax, an authentic ingredient in Williamsburg's recipe, just like the original in colonial days.

Now I'm excited to offer a naturally-scented version of my Bayberry soap just in time for the holidays, although this sweet woodsy scent can be enjoyed year-round.

Greetings, I'm Hannah, soapmaker at Pleasant View Soaps.
